Poppy Seed Noodles (Serves 8)

In this recipe poppy seeds and slivered almonds make everyday noodles visually appealing. They team perfectly with beef stroganoff.

1 (12-ounce) package wide egg noodles
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/3 cup slivered almonds

1. Cook noodles as directed on package. Drain.

2. Melt butter or margarine in skillet; add poppy seeds and almonds, mixing well.

3. Add noodles and toss lightly to mix. Heat carefully, until piping hot. Serve topped with beef stroganoff.
