Fruited Chicken Salad (Serves 6)

When it comes to main dish salads, chicken salad is one of the most popular suggestions for summertime lunches or light suppers. This fruit studded variation is a winner, so prepare it for your family and friends soon.

3 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 cup diced celery
1 (11-ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 (8-ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
3/4 cup light or regular mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon marjoram leaves, crushed

1. In large mixing bowl, combine chicken, celery, oranges,     pineapple and almonds. Chill well, if time permits.

2. In small mixing bowl, blend together mayonnaise, salt     and marjoram.

3. Add mayonnaise dressing to chicken mixture. Toss     together lightly to coat all ingredients. Chill, if time     permits.
